Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: La Maison de l'Est

What You Will Be Doing:

As part of our inaugural Residence Care Team at Maison de l’Est, you will be working with an interdisciplinary team of health care professionals and volunteers providing quality palliative and patient centred care to our hospice residents and their families/caregivers. As a bilingual Registered Nurse your care will be in a primarily Francophone setting supporting a home-like, peaceful and culturally appropriate environment.

The Positions & Schedules:

All shifts are 8 hours and are fully paid. Part time positions available.

Your Qualifications:

  • Current Registration as an RN with the Ontario College of Nurses
  • Experience in hospice palliative and/or end-of life care
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Demonstrate a patient-focused approach to care and ability to work with families/caregivers
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English - oral and written

In addition, having the following would be an asset:

  • LEAP Certification (Learning Essential Approaches to Palliative Care) - or willingness to complete as an employment requirement
