Job Description
This position is in our White Plains office and will have a training period of in person, Monday ??? Friday, 9-5 pm for the first 5-6 weeks before moving into the Weekend Night shift. Please note that in order for candidates to be considered qualified applicants they must possess the minimum education and experience listed below. 
The Opportunity
We are seeking Network Operators to join our Firm. These positions will be based in our White Plains office (hybrid). There are multiple shifts available:
  • Weekend Nights , Friday ??? Sunday or Saturday ??? Monday  (3 days/week), 7pm ??? 7:30 am EST
This role supports and maintains the Firms production infrastructure 24x7x365 to ensure maximum availability and performance of all services. Works as a team and will take ownership of the production infrastructure including, WAN, LAN, administration, analysis, installation, configuration, maintenance, and documentation. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Leads and participates in proactive service management and incident response to eliminate and mitigate operational issues that impact end-users.
  • Monitors the health, performance and availability of computer systems using diversified tools.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves malfunctioning hardware, software, and environmental alerts.
  • Performs Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and escalate to team for remediation.
  • Works collaboratively to resolve problems within the team and as necessary escalate to internal and external engineering resources.
  • Works proactively to triage or troubleshoot alerts, events and issues that impact the Firm???s production IT Infrastructure.
  • Follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for scheduled tasks.
  • Coordinates with third-party vendors, satellite office contacts, or other IT teams for a holistic problem solving and communication.
  • Responses to incidents and carefully tracks and documents all defects and resolutions in detail.
  • Assists with helping to increase the expert knowledge base of NOC and maintenance of system???s health record.
  • Works within the Firms ticketing system and is accountable for updating, tracking, and resolving incidents.
  • Escalates to management all technical issues that are service impacting and require an immediate response or troubleshooting.  Coordinates engineering resources (other IT resources, 3rd party or vendors, etc.) to collaboratively work to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
  • Maintains communication channels within intra teams or outside so that all stakeholders are kept informed ahead in time bound manner.
  • Demonstrates effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective work relationships with others.
  • Manages Firm resources responsibly.
  • Complies with and understands Firm operation, policies and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or three years of relevant experience or Military Occupational Specialty
  • Minimum of five years of related experience
  • Demonstrates hands-on expertise Maintaining and Supporting Windows Services in a Virtualized Environment, including Microsoft Applications (Exchange, SharePoint, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, File Permissions, and Security
  • Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrates close attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Practical experience with TCP/IP networking
  • Significant hands-on experience administrating and troubleshooting VMware Clusters in a high-availability environment, including Windows & Linux guest operating systems
  • Significant experience with and expertise in network monitoring, event detection, analysis, and incident response
  • Significant hands-on experience with and expertise with Cisco Switching and Routing
  • Strong knowledge of networking concepts including; DNS, switching, routing and firewalls
  • Possess excellent troubleshooting, problem solving, and verbal/written communication skills
  • Ability to manage critical situations, and maintain solid relationships with colleagues and firm staff
  • Ability to anticipate problems, communicate them, and resolve if appropriate
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must have strong written/verbal communication skills
  • Must be detail oriented with strong customer service skills
  • Requires strong interpersonal and organization skills
  • Take ownership of issues and responsibility for customer satisfaction and overall success of services provide

Salary Details
The starting base salary for this White Plains position is expected to be between $92,000 - $102,000 annually. Actual salary will be determined based on skills, experience (to the extent relevant) and other-job related factors, consistent with applicable law.
