Fonda Comida Mexicana, a modern Mexican restaurant, is looking for a Lead Host to join our team. We are looking for an outgoing individual who is very passionate about providing superb hospitality to our guests and our community in the 12 South neighborhood. Experience in handling private events and catering is preferred.

The perfect candidate is someone who embodies both hospitality and care, works well in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and is interested in growing and learning with us. We are willing to train new people to the hospitality industry, we just need you to be eager to learn!

This is a position with an hourly base rate, plus commission from any Private Event & Catering bookings.

Our ideal candidate should possess:

• Experience with working with an online reservation system (Resy, Open Table, etc)
• Experience with Private Events & Catering
• High volume experience
• A flexible schedule
• A passion for hospitality
• Organization Skills
• A positive attitude to work on a team
• Willingness to learn new things
• Ability to communicate effectively in-person, phone and/or email
• Ability to multi-task

Bonus skills:

• Has worked with Toast Events or Tripleseat
• Wants to grow with the company
• Very familiar with 12 South neighborhood
