As a Kitchen Porter at Cafe Zaffri , you will be an integral part of our culinary team, ensuring the smooth operation and cleanliness of our kitchen. Your role is crucial in maintaining our high standards of hygiene and organization to support the preparation of exceptional dishes.  

Responsibilities & Duties:  

- Clean and sanitize all glassware and plateware  

- Keep the restaurant and kitchen areas impeccably clean and organized.  

-Maintain cleanliness standards in prep kitchen, walk-in coolers, dry storage rooms, etc.  

-Wash dishes and containers efficiently, minimizing waste.  

-Dispose of waste and recyclables responsibly and as needed.  

- Assist in the storage of food deliveries ensuring all food items are rotated (FIFO) to maintain freshness.  

Qualifications & Skills:  

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.  

• Self-motivated, organized, reliable, and hardworking.  

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.  

• Capacity to follow instructions and remain calm under pressure.  

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and procedures.  

• Flexible availability to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.  

• Ability to lift up to 30+lbs if necessary.
