POSITION TITLE: Bartender
PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION
A bartender at Daisy’s has passion, desire and ability to deliver genuine hospitality with technical service perfection. This standard includes 100% satisfaction of our guest, an expert level of knowledge on company culture and goals, the steps of service, and all aspects of wine, spirit, beer, and food as applicable to the restaurant, as well as restaurant upkeep and maintenance.
Reports to: Manager on Duty
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Demonstrating an insightful understanding of hospitality with every guest interaction
- Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times.
- Capable of describing in detail all food and beverage offerings
- Good communication skills & language when handling customer complaints.
- Pass all product and hospitality tests with 100% accuracy
- Maintaining a positive attitude to help promote a healthy and team-friendly work culture
In addition to service portion of a shift, on a daily basis a bartender/server will be expected to:
- Complete all necessary side work, including setting of bar, polishing of tableware and glassware, silverware, stocking all spirits and items pertaining to the bar
- Prepare the bar for service, adhering to systematic setup and checklists designed for a successful shift
- Assist in breakdown of bar after a shift to meet sanitation and organization standards adhering to checklists.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Individual must be driven to do great work and fun while doing it.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Motivation skills and ability to cultivate a positive environment.
- Available to ability to work at off hours due to the nature of our industry
- Basic wine, beer, and spirit knowledge
- Ability to work in high-volume stores
- Stamina to stand for long periods of time (Up to 8 hours)
