Job Overview:

Byers Industrial Services is seeking experienced and licensed Journeyman Electricians to join our team for highway construction projects. The successful candidates will be involved in various tasks, including roadwork, traffic signals, street lighting, conduit installation, pulling and terminating wires, Relamping traffic lights and street lights, and operating bucket trucks. This role requires night-time work and a willingness to travel within specified areas in DE and NJ.

n- Competitive hourly wage, $109/hr when working on Prevailing Wage Road Construction projects in NJ

Key Responsibilities:
n
n- Perform roadwork associated with highway construction projects.
n- Install, maintain, and repair traffic signals and street lighting systems.
n- Cut, thread, bend, and install conduit, as well as pull and terminate wires.
n- Relamp traffic lights and street lights.
n- Operate bucket trucks for various electrical tasks.
n- Work night shifts as required.
n- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and electrical codes.
n- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Requirements:
n
n- Valid Journeyman Electrician license.
n- Proven experience in roadwork and highway construction projects.
n- Proficiency in working with traffic signals, street lighting, and conduit installation.
n- Ability to pull and terminate wires effectively.
n- Experience with Relamping traffic lights and street lights.
n- Skilled in operating bucket trucks.
n- Willingness to work night shifts and travel within DE and NJ.
n- Strong understanding of safety regulations and electrical codes.
n- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
n- Valid driver’s license.
