Primary Purpose
Repairs, reconditions and upholsters a variety of Hospital furniture ensuring activities meet the needs of customers.
Education:
- Must have completed two years training in upholstery techniques
Experience: - Three years upholstery experience.
Equivalent Education and/or Experience: - May have an equivalent combination of education and experience in lieu of specific education and/or experience as stated above.
Certification/Registration/Licensure: Skills or Special Abilities: - Must be able to demonstrate skill in all phases of upholstery work.
- Must be able to match fabrics making independent judgments on needed improvements.
- Must be able to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing.
- Must be able to perform mathematical computations.
- Must be physically able to lift heavy loads, walk, stand for extended periods, and climb ladders.
