BWH Hematology's portfolio of grants consists of projects valuing more than $30M in FY25 with funding from various sponsors including NIH, DOD, and large foundations. The Grants Administrator will be responsible for the management of pre- and post-award activities. Pre-award activities include setting up applications and timely submissions, advising PIs of requirements and guidelines, and maintaining strict deadlines. Post-award activities including setting up new grants, and management of subcontracts for a portfolio of complex grants and contracts; this primarily includes set up and monitoring of financial and contractual processes for 30+ international subcontractors. This position will report directly to the Sr. Grant Administrator and work in collaboration with the Principal Investigator and other institution counterparts to successfully manage the subcontract administrative and financial processes.Primary Responsibilities:Prepare grant applicationsManage a portfolio of awarded projectsPrepare forms and coordinate set up of incoming grantsPrepare internal forms for fund and grant set-up; work with the Research Management team to ensure timely set-up of grantsCoordinate completion of all components of subcontract setup for up to 30 international subcontractsManage subcontract modifications and terminationsOn a quarterly basis, monitor expenditures for all subcontracts and review with Sr. Grant Administrator for submission of subcontract expenses to sponsorsManage communication for all subcontractors for matters related to budget management, invoices submission, processing of payments, requests for modificationsMaintain close communication with Sr. Grant Administrator to provide updates on spending for all subcontractors and identify concerns with spending This is a Hybrid position.
