Responsibilities:

This position is a Float Care Coordinator Full-Time Position.

Pay Rate: ~$16-$18/Hour

*Staff will also be paid mileage while covering at locations*

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

(Include but is not limited to the following, other duties may be assigned)

All duties and expectations laid forward in the Care Coordinator Team Member Job Description:

  • Front desk scheduling
  • Greeting patients, and checking them in and out for appointments
  • Answering phones and email inquiries
  • Collecting co-pays and other fees
  • Obtaining pre-authorizations and insurance verifications
  • Charting patient records in an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.

Travel role- based on coverage and training requests; location assigned the week before by Care Coordinator Manager
Provide feedback and adjustments for the Care Coordinator
Work closely with CC Manager to continue improving systems and procedures
Identifying areas of concern and addressing and/or notifying the appropriate staff.

Travel must be willing to travel to all clinics within your region or beyond as needed for staffing,
meetings, trainings, etc. Mileage to be reimbursed as warranted based on location to your home.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma; or 2-3 years related experience and/or training
    or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous medical/dental front office, administrative, customer service, or front office experience preferred.
  • History of working with insurance benefits, pre-authorization, and approval is preferred.
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment standards.
