Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours in one workweek
Experience: 5 years required
License: IN State License required
Certifications: BLS required
Must-Have:
- MS/Tele experience
- Cerner proficiency
- LTAC and Community Hospital experience
Job Description:
- Provide care primarily for medical surgical-level patients either as inpatients or under observation.
- Manage chronic medical conditions such as COPD, diabetes, CHF.
- Care for post-surgical patients, including orthopedic, wound care, and medical conditions like pneumonia, COVID, pancreatitis, sickle cell crisis, and chronic pain.
- Operate in a fast-paced environment with rapid admission, discharge, and transfer of patients.
- Collaborate with the emergency department to provide care for patients awaiting inpatient beds or medical observation.
- Work every other weekend and two out of three major holidays.
- Participate in a 12-hour orientation program.
- Perform duties following facility needs, including potential for floating within scope based on requirements.
This role requires adaptability, proficiency with Cerner charting, and strong experience in a similar healthcare setting. The successful candidate will be a seasoned professional capable of managing diverse patient cases efficiently.
