Job Description
Job Title: Post Partum, Labor and Delivery Nurse
Job Specialty: Post Partum, Labor and Delivery, Med-Surg Mother/Baby
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights 5 p.m. - 5 a.m.
Guaranteed Hours: 48 per week
Experience: Minimum 1 year
License: (State Nursing License)
Certifications: ACLS, NRP, BLS
Must-Have:
- Labor and delivery experience
- Circulating experience
Job Description:
- Provide comprehensive care to mothers and their newborns during the post-partum period, labor, and delivery.
- Work primarily during night shifts, including two out of three weekends.
- Ability to scrub is preferred, along with experience in NICU or pediatrics.
- Handle emergency situations and provide high-quality patient care as needed.
- Maintain effective communication with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuous and cohesive patient care.
- Be prepared for quick start and demonstrate the ability to meet performance expectations.
- Provide holiday coverage as required.
