Job Title: Physical Therapist
Job Specialty: Physical Therapy
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 8-hour day shifts with a 9:30 am start time; includes 2 weekend shifts a month
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Experience: Minimum of 2 years
License: CA PT license
Certifications: AHA BLS
Must-Have:
- Experience in skilled nursing facilities (SNF) and inpatient settings
- Proficiency with the Cerner EMR system
- Strong references from supervisory roles, including at least one reference from the past year and one from the past three years
Job Description:
- Float between acute inpatient and skilled nursing facilities as needed
- Provide physical therapy care for an average of 7-8 patients per day
- Responsible for treating conditions such as CVA, TKA, THA, and COPD
- Participate in floor-specific orientation and complete required modules before the start
- Work in various hospital areas, including the Emergency Department, ICU, MedSurg, SurgAcute, and Tele
- Adhere to a flexible holiday rotation schedule with core staff
- Follow a cancellation policy allowing the hospital to cancel up to 3 times per contract
- Wear a uniform in burgundy scrubs
This position does not require a BSN, and candidates can expect a collaborative work environment without rehab aides, OTAs, or PTAs.
