Job Summary :
Uintah Basin Medical Center is hiring a qualified
Ultrasound Technician for a 13-week contract to provide high-quality diagnostic radiology and ultrasound services. The ideal candidate will be ARDMS board-eligible and committed to accurate imaging for effective patient diagnosis and care. Responsibilities include conducting ultrasound exams, managing departmental inventory, maintaining imaging area standards, and delivering patient-centered service.
Position Details :
- Schedule : 7 days on/7 days off, with weekend and weeknight graveyard shifts
- Contract Duration : 13 weeks, starting on 12/23/2024
- Holiday Coverage : Required
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR) : Cerner
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform high-quality diagnostic radiology and ultrasound exams in accordance with hospital protocols
- Maintain technical competency in ultrasound and radiology procedures and ensure image quality
- Assist with department policy development, inventory management, and supply ordering
- Keep imaging areas clean and organized while building positive relationships with patients and physicians
- Ensure accurate documentation, image evaluation, and record-keeping
Qualifications :
- Certification : ARDMS board-eligible; ARDMS(AB) preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) : Required
- Experience : Less than 1 year required; cross-training available for suitable candidates
- State License : Not needed
- Bilingual : Not required
