Position Overview:

Shift Details: 24-hour call coverage starting at 8 a.m. on the first shift and ending at 8 a.m. on the last shift. Schedule: 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off (sometimes 12 or 14 days, depending on weekend call rotation).

Compensation:

$2,900 per 24-hour shift (includes up to 12 hours on-site). Additional hours beyond 12 on-site are paid at $230/hour.

Work Details:

Support Staff: Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). Coverage Needed: 2 weeks per month. Patient Population: Adult. Hospital Bed Size: 26 beds. EMR: Cerner. Responsibilities: Responsible for overnight call, including admission orders and addressing emergent issues (e.g., restraint orders).

Requirements:

Board Certification: Psychiatry. Licensure: State of PA license required. DEA: Required. Certifications/Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years in psychiatry.

Credentialing:
