Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain proficiency in using Interventional Radiology equipment to generate high-quality images.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols to protect both patients and staff.
- Perform necessary computer operations for procedural documentation and charge management.
- Provide compassionate patient care, explaining procedures clearly and conducting physical assessments.
- Prepare and maintain the procedure room, ensuring cleanliness and monitoring equipment inventory.
- Assist radiologists in administering medications and maintaining sterile techniques during procedures.
- Review images for technical accuracy and complete verification processes as required.
- Stay current with educational requirements and demonstrate a willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of hire.
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification.
- IV Certification.
- Graduate of a vocational school.
