We are seeking an experienced and talented Chef de Cuisine to join our dynamic culinary team. As the Chef de Cuisine, you will work closely with the Executive Chef in overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional food quality and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef in menu planning, recipe development, and food presentation
- Supervise and lead a team of culinary professionals, providing guidance, training, and mentorship
- Ensure consistent execution of culinary standards and techniques
- Monitor food quality and freshness, maintaining high standards of sanitation and safety
- Assist in managing inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling costs
- Contribute to the creation of seasonal menus and special event menus
- Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and communication
- Stay updated on industry trends, culinary techniques, and innovations
- Help manage private events and catering
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Executive Sous Chef or senior culinary role
- Proven expertise in various culinary techniques and cuisines
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Attention to detail and passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Knowledge in Vietnamese cuisine is a bonus! (but not required)
