Within the 40,000 square feet of Colette, Coco’s is a private members-only dining club offering a premier dining experience overlooking Central Park. Coco’s encompasses a restaurant, bar, private Japanese dining room (“Keshiki”) and Omakase bar, a spacious member’s lounge and access to an exclusively curated wine cellar. Our menu is light French fare with Mediterranean influences, executed by Michelin awarded chef, Philipe Orrico.
DAILY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist Guest Relations team with guest requests and services, as needed.
- Serve as a departmental role model, and assist management in training, motivating and coaching employees.
- Ensures that Members and guest concerns are resolved professionally and timely.
- Welcome guests on arrival by helping them with luggage and directing by the main entrance to Welcome desk.
- Coordinate private cars and arrange taxis for guests.
- Ensure that guests receive a personalized and timely service.
- Assist guests if check in is delayed by offering refreshment and information assistance.
- Maintain a secure environment for guests and associates.
- Must be knowledgeable about all the features of the building as well as restaurants, shops, tourist attractions, and other important places in the vicinity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support and maintain high luxury standards of service and creating a calm and private and inclusive environment for all guests and Team Members.
- Maintain clear communication between all Team Members within to ensure consistency, transparency, and unity.
- Assist and maintain all guest requests, comments, and concerns in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Conduct all day-to-day operations duties as directed.
- Ensure important levels of cleanliness, health, and safety standards for guests and fellow Team Members.
- Ability to step in and assist fellow Team Members as directed or necessary to ensure a smooth operation.
- Ensure Colette New York standards are being met and always maintained.
- Attending all daily, monthly, and yearly training and meetings as directed.
- Uphold and enforce all policies and procedures as stated in the handbook.
- Ability to support and collaborate with all departments within Coco’s and Colette New York to ensure unity and high luxury standards .
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1 Year Experience in a luxury hotel environment or similar
- Positive, engaging, and energetic personality
- Able to be organized, manage time wisely and work with little to no direct supervision.
- Extremely high attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal on English
- Able to handle a multitude of tasks in an intense, fast paced environment.
- Ability to maintain a clean and professional appearance as per company policies.
- Multi-lingual is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time, lift, push, items, equipment, and packages of up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand during a full shift.
