Bingham Mechanical, Inc. is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Plumbing Estimator to join our team in Chandler, AZ. As an Estimator, you will play a key role in analyzing project blueprints, specifications, and proposals to prepare accurate cost estimates for a wide variety of plumbing and mechanical projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within time constraints. Respon sibilities include but are not limited to:

• Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documents to prepare accurate estimates.
• Analyze labor, materials, and equipment requirements to determine project costs.
• Solicit and review subcontractor and vendor bids to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients.
• Create and present detailed cost estimates to project managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Manage the estimating process, ensuring that all estimates are completed on time and within company standards.
• Update and maintain cost databases for materials and labor to ensure current and accurate pricing.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure smooth transitions from estimating to project execution.
• Identify potential project risks and provide suggestions for cost-saving alternatives.
• Track project performance, including budget adherence and post-project analysis to improve future estimates.

The ideal candidate should possess:

• 3+ years of experience in construction estimating in plumbing or mechanical systems required.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
• Strong knowledge of construction cost structures, labor requirements, and materials.
• Experience using estimating software (such as Bluebeam or ProEst) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Arizona is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
