PrideStaff is currently seeking a Welder-Fabricator for a growing company in Saucier MS!
The Welder-Fabricator position is important as it provides the foundation for everything this company does.  Qualified Welder must be competent in using potentially dangerous equipment while following all safety precautions; knowledge of metals and their properties is essential. 
The ideal candidate will have a steady hand, pay great attention to detail and will demonstrate the ability to learn quickly, and effectively perform the duties assigned. You may occasionally be tasked with non-welding work and will take the opportunity to learn new skills. This a long-term career opportunity with a growing company.
Typical Qualifications include the following:
???    Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment using various welding techniques
???    Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
???    Operate welding equipment to weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions 
???    Perform quality inspections to ensure welds meet specifications and standards
???    Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to complete tasks, you must be able to read a tape.
???    Collaborate with team members to plan and prioritize work assignments
???    While most of the work day will be spent welding and fabricating, the employee may be asked to perform other related duties; experience with wiring, carpentry and assembly or manufacturing are all a plus. 
???    A willingness to learn additional new skills is required.
???    Operate a forklift.

Minimum Requirements:
???    1-4 years proven experience as a welder.
???    Mechanical knowledge and understanding of metal fabrication processes  Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
???    Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
???    Maintain equipment in safe operating condition.
???    Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials.
???    Must reliable, team and goal oriented.
???    Must be available for occasional overtime, including weekends.
???    Must read, write and speak English well.
???    Knowledge of safety standards and willingness to wear appropriate PPE when required. 
???    AWS certification (preferred)
???    ISO/SAP experience (preferred, but not necessary)
???    Pass regular random drug testing. We are a drug-free workplace.
