Pediatrics Respiratory Therapist RRT
One Year of Respiratory Acute Care Experience Required
Elevated Pay Rate + applicable shift differentials
Minimum commitment of 72 hours per pay period with 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
All seasonal employees are required to work a minimum of 72 hours per pay period
Actual hours scheduled and worked are dependent upon census and hospital staffing needs
Seasonal position not eligible for hospital benefit programs
Seasonal program ends on March 31, 2025

Job Summary and Qualifications
The Pediatrics Respiratory Therapist RRT coordinates and delivers patient-centered respiratory care, conducts diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures, and monitors patients receiving mechanical ventilation.
Responsibilities include:
- Completing patient assessments and diagnostic procedures
- Administering respiratory therapies and oxygen delivery
- Assisting with artificial airway placement and mechanical ventilation
- Monitoring patient response and intervening when necessary
- Assisting with transportation and ensuring airway integrity during resuscitation
Qualifications:
- RRT/Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT / RCP) certification
- ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications
- Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy
- State licensure or registration as a Respiratory Therapist
