Purpose of Position: Provide skilled maintenance and complex repair work on the physical plant, hospital, clinics, campus grounds, and limited medical and non-medical equipment.

Essential Functions: - Perform diagnostic level preventive and corrective maintenance on physical plant equipment to include HVAC systems, system controls, wet plumbing systems, high and low pressure oil fired water and steam boilers and hydronic heating systems
- Testing of equipment utilizing safety analyzer, volt meters, ohm meters, amp meters and special hand tools
- Posess the technical knowledge and experience to inspect, calibrate, adjust, clean and lubrication mechanical and electrical controls, valves, gauges, timing devices and meters. Report equipment and structural problems beyond own skill level, deficient or needed equipment or supplies to immediate supervisor
- Provide installation and repair services on complex and major systems throughout the facility as indicated by appropriate logs, work orders and blueprints
- Train and mentor apprentices and technicians on complex preventive maintenance and repair work
- Collaborate with general conractors, electricians, and other construction professionals
- Perform other duties as assigned
