- Schedule: F-M 7a-7p; 10 days/month of clinic and on call coverage
- Patient Volume: 1-5
- Annual Census: 296 births
- Support Staff: 1 RN, 1 MA, 1 PA/NP, and 1 Office/Staff
- Will be required to supervise APPs
- Procedures: Non-Invasive Ventilation Mgmt (neo-puff), Ventilation Mgmt (newborn) / Acute, Ventilation Mgmt (Pediatric) / Acute, Intubation (ETT/NT), Newborn/Pediatrics, UVC / UAC, Lumbar puncture, Chest tube insertion, Needle pneumothorax, Suturing minor lacerations, Circumcision (type), Swallow studied
- Duties: rounding on newborns, circumcisions, phone calls from ED, ED consults and occasional stabilize and transfer if too high acuity, provide care to pediatrics primary clinic patients. They will be attending deliveries, round on well babies in the nursery and take calls for pediatric patients in the ER.
