Position: OBGYN Physician
Location: IA
Start Date: September2024 (Flexible)
Length/Need: 1 provider needed

Travel & Lodging will be covered or reimbursed
Medical Malpractice will be covered Do need emergent C section back up if on call at the same time


Compensation:

• $310-$320 hourly

Schedule:

• Clinic + Call
• Full time coverage needed M-F clinic (7a-5p)
• 24 Hour Call -Delivery/C-Sections (Friday 5p - Monday 7a)
• Can potentially cover weeknight call as well if interested
  

Details:

• Facility is Level II, EMR is Cerner
• Low risk and high risk deliveries; complicated & routine
  
• Credentialing takes 35-40 days
  

Procedures:

• Low risk pregnancy (i.e. history of twins, toxemia, pyelonephritis, etc.)
  
• High risk pregnancy (i.e. with toxemia, diabetes, Class II or higher cardiacs, chronic lung problems, chronic renal disease, etc.)
  
• FHR interpretation NST/CST/FSE x VBAC s
• Routine delivery Vaginal, low forceps, decision-making for C-section
• Complicated delivery C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, etc.
• VBAC s
• Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
  

Requirements:

• Board Certified
• Active IA license or IMLC
• BLS, NRP, EFM cert
• Clean Malpractice
• Covid Vaccination
• Must have experience with Emergency C Sections
