Sunstate Remodeling is seeking a self-driven and detail-oriented Working Foreman to join our team. In this role, you will oversee and actively participate in all aspects of residential remodeling projects, ensuring work is completed to the highest standards. You will work alongside team members and subcontractors, manage project timelines, and uphold the company's commitment to quality. This position requires hands-on experience in various trades, leadership skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and the team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Prepare tools, materials, and equipment for daily tasks to ensure efficient work execution.
  • Maintain and organize a company vehicle stocked with supplies and tools.
  • Read, interpret, and execute designer drawings and project scopes with precision.
  • Lead and mentor apprentice and journeyman-level team members.
  • Move between multiple projects to meet deadlines and ensure quality control.
  • Regularly inspect work, ensuring quality standards are met, including subcontractors' work.
  • Communicate daily progress and job status with the Superintendent and Project Manager.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors to ensure smooth project progression.
  • Perform a variety of trades, including framing, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, tile prep, concrete, stucco, drywall, and more.
  • Execute high-level trim carpentry and cabinet installation with precision and care.
  • Complete final punch lists with attention to detail.
  • Update clients on progress and respond to inquiries as necessary.
  • Utilize remodeling software app to provide daily updates with pictures of completed tasks.
The ideal candidate should possess:
  • Valid Arizona Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of residential remodeling experience.
  • Smart phone with internet access.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the company.

Schedule:
  • 10-hour shifts, starting between 6-7am.
  • Monday through Thursday.
