Description:
Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RN's to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW). The last day for IN RNs to start a NEW contract is 9/9 (allows them to finish a contract by 11/30).
**Periop/OR RN's, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. These IN travelers are allowed to work past the 11/30 deadline. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS**
Position / Specialty: OBGYN Ultrasound Tech
Shift: 830am - 5pm M-F.
Types of Cases REQ: High Risk OB, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Obstetrics, Portables
**Need to be OB for the most part -if traveler have other experience that would be great. Generally seeing patients for OB follow ups and GYN studies
Years of experience REQ: 1
First timers accepted: No - except if the traveler has 5 years recent OB Ultrasound Tech experience then they will be open to taking 1st time traveler.
Weekend REQ: No
National Certs REQ: ARDMS
BLS REQ: Yes

Open to accommodating block schedule? Yes, M-F schedule.

RTO Restrictions: Must work 2/3 major holidays
Guaranteed Hours: 8 and 10 hr. shifts - 40 hrs. in one workweek.
3, 12 hr shifts - 36 hrs. in one workweek. 4, 12 hr. shifts - 48 hrs. in one workweek.
Special Requirements: 1st trimester, 2nd trimester, 3rd trimester, Fetal Anatomical Survey, Fetal Echo , Multiple pregnancy, Umbilical Cord Doppler, Amniocentesis.
