Schedule: 5 days a week 8 hours each day 07:00 to 03:30
Qualifications: - The applicant must have at least 3 years' documented experience.
- Be able to perform:
- Heavy work (lifting of 25 lbs to 50lbs).
- Ability to assembler and disassembler furniture
- Ability to fix broken furniture
- Ability make furniture in accordance with plans
- Work in a noisy environment (Must be able to wear hearing protection when necessary)
- Standing and bending for long periods of time
Duties: - Measures, cuts, constructs, or repairs wood or wood substitute items such as scaffolding, staging parts, panels, bin pallets, concrete forms, dry walls, and rook decking.
- Measures, cuts, constructs, installs, repairs, and modifies building components such as rafters, walls, staircases, windows, and frames, trim work, and cabinets.
- Independently plans and completes projects that involve constructing, altering, repairing, and/or modifying framework, rafters, doors, finished paneling, windows, interior/exterior trim, staircases, trusses, and beams.
- Plans, measures and lay out carpentry materials using broad knowledge of wood materials and substitutes with general and precision woodworking techniques.
- Knowledge of metal framing for walls and drop ceiling.
- Concrete and Masonry skills.
