Job Title: Certified Surgical First Assist
Job Specialty: Certified Surgical First Assist
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 10:00 AM-08:30 PM, one rotating day off per week
Guaranteed Hours:
Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience; Neuro, Robotics, Orthopedics (especially total joints), Vascular; previous surgical tech experience preferred
License:
Certifications: BLS, CSFA
Must-Have: Experience with Neuro, Robotics, Orthopedics (especially total joints), and Vascular
Job Description:
- Provide surgical assistance and support to surgeons during procedures in various specialties including Neuro, Robotics, Orthopedics, and Vascular.
- Participate in pre-operative planning and post-operative assessments.
- Ensure sterile and aseptic techniques are followed during surgeries.
- Be available for call shifts 1-2 weeknights per week and one full weekend per 4-week schedule based on department needs.
- Proficiency in EPIC systems.
- May be required to float within skill set or to nearby sites, up to a 40-mile radius, if needed.
- Demonstrate good communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced surgical environment.
