Job Description
Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse
Job Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Four 10-hour shifts (7 am to 5:30 pm) with rotating days off throughout the month
Guaranteed Hours: 36
Experience: More than 2 years of Cath Lab experience preferred
License: Nursing license required
Certifications: Relevant certifications in cardiac care preferred
Must-Have: Experience in administering moderate sedation and patient monitoring during procedures
Job Description:
- Administer moderate sedation to patients as required.
- Monitor patients during various cardiac procedures.
- Assist with procedure setup and breakdown.
- Perform procedures including, but not limited to, left heart catheterization, right heart catheterization, peripheral interventions, carotid stents, AAAs, TAVR, and device implants.
- Take call one weekday per week and one weekend every four weeks.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with the cardiac care team to provide optimal patient care.
