Job Description
Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Job Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology with a Specialty in Nuclear Medicine
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day Shift, 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:30)
Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off once per two-week pay period
Experience: Minimum of 1 year required
License: California license must be in hand (No Temporary Licenses accepted)
Certifications: BLS, ARRT (N) or NMTCB; Preferred: CT Advanced Certification
Must-Have:
- Willingness to float between specified facilities
- Acceptance of on-call responsibilities
- Ability to work at least 3 of the 5 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
Job Description:
- Start times will vary between 07:00 and 08:00.
- No weekend shifts required.
- First-time applicants accepted.
- Floating between similar units and facilities is required.
- Participation in orientation for 40 hours required.
- Involvement in pre-start and annual modules averaging 16 hours, over 20 hours requires approval.
- RTO must be submitted at the time of application with some restrictions.
- Background policy in place; minimum two supervisory references required covering one year of employment in the last three years within a comparable specialty/setting.
- A cell phone or communication device will be provided or reimbursed for work-related use.
