No call or weekends
Certification Requirements: BLS, NMTCB, IN License Required; CT Certification, ARRT Advanced Cert. Preferred
NMTCB and ARRT certifications are equivalent, candidate must be board certified in nuclear medicine
Skillset Requirements:
Work Setting Experience- Outpatient, Inpatient Required; ER, Teaching Hospital, Adult ICU Preferred
General Skills Experience- IV Starts, PACS Required; Phlebotomy, EKGs Preferred
Nuclear Medicine Procedure Experience- Cardiac, Bone Scan, Liver/Spleen Scan, Lung Scan, Renal Flow, Thyroid Studies, Tumor Localization, SPECT, Myocardial Required
-Floating is 100% required of ALL TRAVELERS - Candidates will float within hospital or to an affiliate hospital/s nearby as needed
Minimum Experience Required: 1.5 Years

Unit Information: Our nuclear medicine department averages 55 patients monthly. There is no call or weekends, but the technologist will be required to communicate with the inpatient floor and order the doses for after-hour inpatient add-ons for the next business day.
Often: Cardiac SPECT, HIDA, Gastric Emptying, Bone Scan (Whole body/3 Phase),
Sometimes: Renal, V/Q, Breast Sentinel Node (radiologist injects), Thyroid Uptake and Scan
Rarely: GI Bleed, Infection WBC, Bone Marrow, MUGA, Lymphatic (Melanoma- radiologist injects), Liver/Spleen
