Unit Notes
Performs all duties of the Staff Radiologic position in Briner Imaging and the Medical Office Building Radiology services under the general supervision of the Radiologist, conducts daily operations of the Department.
Successful completion of a Radiologic Technologist Program (College or Institutional Program) approved by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
The college program will grant a minimum of an Associate's Degree (A.S.) or Radiologic Technology program or equivalent. Three plus years of experience as a mammography technologist preferred.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS:
Required: Current CPR Certificate, ARRT, CRT certification for general radiography.
Preferred: Must possess current mammography certification in state of California and through A.R.R.T.
I would ask for a minimum of a 12 week assignment with an option to renew after 8 weeks. I do need someone who has current experience in the mammo setting and has been actively working in the field not just licensed in mammo but has not worked in the field in a while.
Days and weekends required to work. I would say that we probably want this position to work a minimum of one weekend day per week or more, depending on what we wind up doing for scheduling, as we ramp back up post pandemic.
