Endocrinologist

Position Overview:
Prima Medicine, a well-established private practice in Fairfax, Virginia, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Endocrinologist to join our team. This role offers flexibility, with options for part-time (minimum 3 days per week) or full-time scheduling. Our practice is dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care and is supported by a multidisciplinary team, including Registered Dietitians and Obesity Medicine Providers, to ensure comprehensive treatment for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid dysfunction, adrenal and pituitary disorders, and metabolic bone diseases.
- Provide individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based care.
- Interpret and manage diagnostic tests, including lab work, imaging, and dynamic endocrine testing.
- Educate patients on lifestyle modifications, disease prevention, and treatment adherence.
- Collaborate with primary care and specialty providers to ensure seamless coordination of care.
- Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) for accurate and timely documentation.
- Participate in practice growth initiatives and patient education programs.
Qualifications:
- Board Certification in Endocrinology or Board Eligible for new residency graduates.
- Active Virginia medical license or willingness to obtain one.
- Preferred 1-2 years of post-graduate experience in an outpatient setting, but exceptional new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-focused approach to care.
