Position Summary: The Specimen Processor Technical Assistant receives specimens from all procurement areas and orders laboratory tests based on physician orders. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to: processing specimens for specific departments/locations in the laboratory and preparing specimens to be sent out to Reference Laboratories.
