Job Summary
We seek a skilled and dedicated line cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As a line cook, you will be responsible for preparing food items according to recipes and maintaining high food quality and hygiene standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and food items according to recipes and menu specifications.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation at all times.
- Cook and plate food items to meet presentation guidelines.
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures.
- Monitor food stock levels and communicate needs to the kitchen manager.
- Collaborate with other kitchen team members to ensure timely and accurate food preparation.
- Assist with inventory and ordering as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and sanitation regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a line cook or similar role in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Culinary school diploma or equivalent experience preferred.
