You’re the type of person who gets excited about finding opportunities for growth, modernizing processes, and delivering exceptional experiences for members. Whether it’s rolling up your sleeves to tackle challenges or working with partners to drive innovation, you bring your A-game every day.

For you, success is about making a meaningful impact—not just for the business, but for your team, partners, and the members we serve.

WHAT MOVES YOU

  • You’re a natural leader who thrives on helping diverse teams excel and achieve their goals.
  • You have a knack for seeing the bigger picture, creating strategies, and inspiring others to bring them to life.
  • You’re all about modernizing, knowing business trends, and embracing new ways of doing things.
  • Sales and partnerships are in your DNA—you’re all about building relationships and identifying opportunities to drive growth.
  • You’re a problem solver with a passion for finding innovative solutions that create a win-win for everyone involved.
  • Collaboration is your superpower—you love working across teams and functions to achieve shared goals.
  • You believe in the power of clear communication and always keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
  • You’re results-driven and know how to balance short-term wins with long-term success.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Report to the Vice President, Advocacy and Operations.
  • You’ll craft and lead growth strategies that drive sales, modernize travel experiences, and bring AMA Travel’s vision to life. From creating sales strategies to supporting our amazing partners, you’ll always have your sights set on what’s next.
  • Design forward-thinking strategies that ignite a dynamic sales culture, driving growth and empowering teams to exceed expectations.
  • You’ll be the glue that connects us to our key travel suppliers, Affinity Partners, and Travel tech providers. Negotiate supplier agreements, identify new partnership opportunities, and foster collaboration.
  • Identify new opportunities, trends, and travel products that help us stay one step ahead. From emerging destinations to untapped markets, you’re always on the lookout for what’s next.
  • Join forces with our leadership team to develop modern strategies for AMA’s Escape Artist model. You’ll find ways to make travel planning exciting, seamless, and truly memorable for our members.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to our travel managers and their teams. You’ll coach, motivate, and support them every step of the way, helping them achieve their goals and grow their careers.
  • Dive into member experiences and work collaboratively to find innovative solutions. By aligning resources and fostering open communication, you’ll turn challenges into opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate across functions: from marketing to finance to front-line teams, you’ll work with internal and external stakeholders to align priorities, drive results, and achieve sales targets.
  • Oversee product marketing plans and strategies that highlight the best travel experiences for our members. You’ll ensure we’re offering the right products at the right time to make every journey unforgettable.

WHAT YOU’VE DONE

  • You have superior knowledge of the travel industry, products, destinations, technology and services.
  • You have a diploma in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Communications or equivalent work experience is considered.
  • You’ve got a proven track record in leadership, with at least 3 years’ experience managing teams in sales, travel, or a related field.

  • AMA Perks: Great discounts on AMA products and services.
