About the Role :
As a Project Director, you will oversee Project Managers managing large-scale modular construction projects by driving operational excellence and process improvement. You’ll play a pivotal role in developing and refining processes, fostering cross-divisional collaboration, and ensuring seamless execution across all design, manufacturing, and installation phases.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and mentor a team of project managers, fostering their professional growth and ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality projects.
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from planning and procurement to manufacturing and installation.
- Develop and document streamlined processes, mapping engagement strategies to align teams and stakeholders.
- Conduct Kaizen blitz sessions to identify inefficiencies and implement Lean principles for process optimization.
- Design and implement quality assurance frameworks, performance metrics, and risk management plans.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to deliver on-time, within-scope, and under-budget results.
- Act as the primary liaison between clients, contractors, and internal departments, ensuring proactive communication and issue resolution.
- Cultivate a collaborative and results-driven culture, emphasizing continuous improvement and accountability.
What We’re Looking For :
- 10+ years of progressive experience in construction or project management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop project managers into high-performing teams.
- Expertise in modular construction manufacturing and installation, with a strong understanding of project workflows and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience implementing Lean principles, leading Kaizen blitz sessions, and driving continuous process improvement.
- PMP designation is required; additional Lean Six Sigma or Agile methodologies certifications are assets.
- Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills with a results-oriented mindset.
