We are looking for a temp to join our communications team to support work on a project while the employee on the team is on a leave. We are not sure when the employee will return, initially we are looking at a month, but this may be extended. We are looking for someone with the following skills/experience:
Specific requirements of the job:
- Event management experience including using event management software, online event hosting software (Zoom), website maintenance, planning and coordination, anticipating marketing and swag needs, etc.
- Social media planning and posting, able to create and identify content that aligns with our brand and audience interests.
- Experience with website posting and administration, able to upload/revise web content.
- Experience writing content for web, socials, marketing and other communications materials with an eye for detail.
- Experience using marketing tools such as Hootsuite, Campaign Monitor, Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
The ideal temp would be someone who can do the following:
- Start the planning for WWYD (event management)
- Support with social media creation and posting
- Experience with collecting and analyzing data, ideally could help with picking up the data dashboard work again.
- Experience with marketing tools like Hootsuite, CM, Canva, etc.
- Exceptional researching skills, can mine for information and provide summaries and action items.
Ideally we are looking for someone with 3-5 years of communications experience.
