Together.nnSummarynnDLA Piper's Atlanta office seeks an associate with 2-3 years of construction law experience to join its Real Estate Group. The candidate will provide transactional and litigation support on all aspects of construction and development work, including: drafting and negotiation of design, construction and development agreements in various industry sectors; advising clients with respect to management of claims and disputes concerning change orders, extra work claims, delay, and construction defects; assist with construction adversarial matters (arbitration and litigation). Familiarity with industry form agreements (AIA and similar forms) is required. Prior experience with litigation or arbitration matters is preferred but not required.
