Pride Health is hiring a Children's Outpatient Therapist to support our client’s medical facility based in Southgate, Michigan. This temporary to permanent opportunity is a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
- Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Planning : Conduct intake assessments and gather information from various sources (e.g., clients, families, probation officers) to develop comprehensive, person-centered treatment plans.
- Therapeutic Interventions : Provide individual, family, and group therapy, along with face-to-face clinical interventions, crisis planning, and parent education.
- Collaboration and Advocacy : Work with psychiatrists, physicians, school personnel, and other stakeholders to support the child and family, while advocating for their needs and connecting them with community resources.
- Administrative and Compliance Duties : Complete clinical documentation, participate in program evaluations, adhere to agency policies, and maintain licensure/certifications.
- Professional Development and Team Participation : Attend supervision and team meetings, follow ethical guidelines, represent the agency professionally, and complete 24 hours of annual training specific to children or adolescents.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher.
- Licensed in Michigan as one of the following:
- Psychologist (TLLP, LLP, LP).
- Licensed Master’s Social Worker (LMSW) or Limited Licensed Master’s Social Worker (LLMSW) under supervision.
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Limited Licensed Professional Counselor (LLPC).
- Licensure must be obtained within the training period and maintained actively, without disciplinary action.
- Michigan licensure: LLMSW, LMSW, LLPC, LPC, TLLP, or LLP.

Pay Range: $50000 - $68000 / per year
*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
