Summary:
The QTI Group in partnership with a specialty food manufacturer in Northern Illinois is seeking a rising operations leader that is bilingual and experienced in SQF and Lean practices.
Responsibilities:
To lead a small operations team (production and warehousing) to produce a variety of superior specialty food products and delight our customers.
Basic position responsibilities include: Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost, and will have the necessary decision rights to move the organization forward along the dimensions of world-class performance.
The successful candidate will collaborate with multiple disciplines including: Finance, Accounting, Product Development, Procurement, Food Safety, and Senior Management.

Qualifications:
- 3-5 years supervisory experience
- Excellent oral and written skills (English & Spanish)
- Demonstrated ability to discern and prioritize daily tasks
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel)
- Exceptional Critical Thinking Skills
- Demonstrated ability to give/receive feedback
- Kaizen experience (Lead/Co-Lead/Green Belt)
As a people-paced operation, exceptional leadership skills (ex. active listening, conflict resolution, problem solving, etc.) are required.
This position reports to the General Manager and as a critical role, has significant visibility and interaction with Senior Leaders in the parent organization.
