Our client is a global leader in packaging. Due to growth, seeking a Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager to join the production staff. Primary duties/responsibilities include:
- Ensure manufacturing and distribution processes are running efficiently
- Review and modify SOP's and recommend new ones as needed
- Assess floor layout and recommend modifications as needed
- Assess other administrate and operational procedures
- Train and collaborate across all departments regarding CI
- Provides reports to management and stakeholders
- May travel to other plants in the Northeast US for CI work as well.
Position reports to Plant Manager
Ideal candidates for CI Manager will possess the following:
- Bachelor's degree, engineering
- LEAN Six Sigma certified (Black Belt, Green Belt, or equivalent)
- 4+ years experience in a manufacturing environment
Salary up to $110k/yr. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, FSA, TA, etc.
