About the Role
The General Manager (GM) oversees the growth, operations, and strategic goals of the Business Unit. The role is responsible for talent development, customer satisfaction, and growth while ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage accelerated growth consistent with our values
- Develop and implement operational plans aligned with long-term strategic objectives
- Lead and mentor managers, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
- Monitor key performance metrics, and implement strategies for improvement
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and other federal, state, and local regulations
- Manage personnel needs, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and team development
Qualifications
Experience:
- Three years waste industry leadership experience – portable toilet experience is a plus
- Operations and sales background
Required Skills
- Strong operations and sales abilities
- Experience managing accelerated growth
- Leadership skills, including coaching, mentoring, and developing talent
- Knowledge of safety standards, regulatory compliance, and environmental management
