Role Overview: We seek a passionate and dedicated Attorney to join our vibrant team. In this role, you’ll be able to handle a diverse range of family law cases, from divorce and custody disputes to prenuptial agreements and adoption matters. You’ll work closely with our experienced attorneys, participate in strategy sessions, and contribute to crafting effective legal solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Interaction: Meet with clients to discuss their cases, provide legal advice, and develop strategies tailored to their needs.
  • Case Management: Handle all aspects of family law cases, including drafting legal documents, preparing pleadings, discovery and motion practice, and managing case timelines.
  • Court Appearances: Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and other legal proceedings.
  • Research and Writing: Conduct legal research to support case strategy and write clear, persuasive briefs and legal documents.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with senior attorneys and support staff to ensure comprehensive case preparation and client service.
  • Client Advocacy: Advocate for clients’ best interests while maintaining empathy and understanding of their unique situations.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with developments in family law and participate in ongoing learning opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • License: Licensed to practice law in Texas.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in family law preferred. Experience in drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, motion practice, trials, research, and writing, and knowledge of Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and the Texas Family Code.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and a genuine passion for helping families.
  • Personality: A team player with a positive, can-do attitude, is self-motivated to succeed, a sense of humor, and the ability to thrive in a team environment.
