Our partner, an industrial distribution and manufacturing company located in King of Prussia, PA is immediately seeking an Indirect Sourcing Project Manager to work in the company headquarters. As their company continues to scale, this individual will be essential in establishing and evolving procurement functions across the organization.
The Indirect Sourcing Project Manager will be responsible for developing, executing and administering indirect strategic sourcing strategies determined by organizational objectives. This is a hybrid position, with 2 days working from home each week.
Indirect Sourcing Project Manager Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for indirect categories
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts and establish long-term relationships
• Implement cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality or service levels
• Manage relationships with suppliers, ensuring performance meets expectations
• Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and address any issues or concerns
• Stay updated on market trends, supplier capabilities and changes in the regulatory environment
• Negotiate and finalize contracts with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions
• Identify opportunities for process improvement within the procurement function

Indirect Sourcing Project Manager Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree
• 3+ years proven experience in strategic sourcing, procurement or supply chain management
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems and Excel
• Excellent organizational, problem solving and strategic thinking skills
• Strong negotiation, communication and analytical skills
