Job Description

We are currently looking for a Client Service Associate to join a thriving independent financial advisory practice in one of our Chicago offices. Headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, IHT Wealth Management (an LPL Financial affiliated wealth management firm) provides financial planning and investment advisory services to retail clients. The Company has several offices in the Chicago area and other states. We aim to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our team members, our clients, and our communities.


Description:

The Client Service Associate will directly impact the client experience. You will support a dynamic advisor in a client-focused environment. The ideal candidate should thrive in a fast-paced small office environment, have the ability to multi-task effectively, enjoy problem solving opportunities, demonstrate strong organizational skills, understand some basic financial/money concepts, have high integrity/values, and a fun personality.


Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Address advisor and client needs promptly and professionally with excellent follow-through and communication.
  • Facilitate opening new accounts and ongoing account administration for investments and insurance products.
  • Acting as main point of contact for the firm, answering and routing calls, answering and routing emails, greeting and welcoming clients, following up on standardized tasks assigned by the advisor to the client, drafting and sending sophisticated client communications.
  • Timely scheduling of clients, as requested by the client or advisor; Maintaining advisor’s calendar.
  • Develop and maintain client service processes and procedures.
  • Organize, enter, and analyze information for financial planning cases.
  • Prepare client investment reports and meeting agendas.
  • Oversee our suite of technology resources and manage all data within our CRM system.
  • Maintain periodic industry compliance requirements.
  • Assist in marketing needs and social media presence.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred but not required depending on experience and skill set.
  • Excellent verbal, written, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Customer service experience
  • Basic understanding of financial concepts and terminology
  • Comfortable multi-tasking and having semi-autonomous deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Some experience with CRM systems preferred (Redtail experience ideal but not required)


Work Schedule:

  • 40 hours per week.
  • 5 days per week. 1-2 days remote.
