Shared Mobility Planner | Up to $94,941/annually

This position has the flexibility to telecommute, work a hybrid schedule, or work in the office. The incumbent will be required to make a telework arrangement with their supervisor. The incumbent may be expected to work in the office on occasion.
Our Shared Mobility Planner position will plan and implement efforts for the Office of Transit and Active Transportation’s (OTAT) Shared Mobility initiatives. This work will support Moving Greater Minnesota Forward, MnDOT’s groundbreaking shared mobility innovation program for rural, tribal, and small urban communities. This position will also have the following responsibilities:
- Develop, coordinate, and provide technical assistance and training for grantees and local, regional and state partners on Greater Minnesota shared mobility programs.
- Identify and pursue discretionary grant funding, and coordinate with administrative staff to manage awarded grants.
- Support planning and deployment of shared mobility projects at the ABC Ramps Mobility Hub in Minneapolis.
- Support MnDOT’s implementation of its Charging and Fueling Infrastructure (CFI) grant to install electric vehicle (EV) chargers in rural and tribal communities.
- Provide coordination and consultation with key partners to plan and advance policy, processes, and systems that facilitate increased adoption of shared mobility throughout Greater Minnesota, including increased collaboration with the Active Transportation Unit.

Here are the minimum qualifications:
Two years of advanced professional transportation planning experience that demonstrates:
- Experience with planning principles, methods, and techniques.
- Experience implementing new programs or pilots.
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Planning, Geography, Urban Studies, Sociology, Political Science substitutes for six months of advanced professional experience.
