JOB PURPOSE:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Administrator to oversee and facilitate all transportation-related operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task and the ability to learn the rules and regulations of logistics.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare electronic and paper-based documentation for all shipments including Bills of Lading, Packing List, Tax Invoice, Proforma Invoice, Commercial Invoice, and other records to comply with all domestic and international transportation regulations.
• Provide rate information, tools and quoting to support order costing.
• Assist with tracking emails, quotes and questions from account managers.
• Manage reporting on all freight information for every shipment including cost, dimensions, weights, destinations, quotes, etc. on a daily/weekly/monthly/annual basis.
• Manage and schedule appointments with shippers and customers for deliveries and pick-ups.
• Perform any other additional duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Prior administrative experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills including working knowledge of Outlook and Excel – NetSuite is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail is a must.
• Ability to learn the rules and regulations of domestic and international shipments.
• Strong ability to multi-task.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
