Position Type: 12 Months Contract

Pay Rate$ 70/hour




Job Description:

  • The Leader EHS is responsible for the assistance and creation in the of improvement policies and programs; maintaining compliance of current and future internal and external regulations and standards.


Required Education:

  • Bachelor's level degree
  • Area of study: EHS or similar.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5 Minimum Years of Experience.
  • 1-3 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry
  • Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces.
  • Experience in regulatory compliance in OSHA, worker's compensation, manufacturing health and safety training, environmental and ergonomics.
  • ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 45001 requirements including internal and external customers such as OE and NGO requirements; training and record keeping requirements, ISO documentation requirements and formats.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor EHS performance, identify risks, areas of improvement, conduct and manage EHS audits and on-site inspections to identify EHS workplace hazards.
  • Assist with the investigation of EHS incidents, prepare reports and recommendations, implement waste management programs, develop and drive EHS trainings , manage relationships with community of EHS stakeholders.
  • Research, evaluate and recommend changes to improve EHS performance.
  • Provide expertise and advice on EHS issues to plant employees
  • Eliminate the risk of occupational injury and illness, and environmental non-compliance in a manufacturing environment.
  • Lead, direct, evaluate and develop a team of EHS professionals.
  • Implementation of EHS systems according to norms ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and OHSAS.
