Dearborn Mid-West is looking for a first shift Fabricator to join our team in Taylor, MI.

Qualifications:

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
• Prior welding experience in MIG or TIG
• Minimum 2 years of steel and carbon steel experience
• Minimum 2 years reading blueprints and following through experience
• Strong organizations skill
• Ability to work independently
• Basic math skills with knowledge of fractional, metric and decimal systems
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints
• Good communication skills
• AWS certification strongly preferred
• Must be a quality and detail oriented fabricator
• Have reliable attendance and be able to work overtime/weekends

Responsibilities:

• Weld and fabricate steel and other surfaces/materials
• Assemble tools and materials
• Read and interpret measurements, blueprints, and sketches
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines
• Ensure safe and clean working environment
