Insurance Attorney

Our client, a global leader in legal dispute resolution and advisory services, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Associate to join our Insurance Litigation team. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of litigation processes and a proven track record in effective dispute resolution. This role demands excellent analytical and interpersonal skills to handle complex cases and achieve successful outcomes for our clients.

Focus:

• Represent clients in a broad range of insurance-related disputes and litigation matters.
• Conduct comprehensive case analysis to identify key issues and develop strategic approaches for case handling.
• Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, briefs, motions, and appeals.
• Collaborate with team members to prepare for and participate in trials, hearings, arbitrations, and mediations.
• Maintain client relationships by providing regular updates, expert advice, and strategic recommendations.
• Manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines and billable hour requirements.
• Engage in continuous professional development to keep abreast of changes in legislation and industry standard.

Skill Set:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a recognized law school.
• Valid and active membership with the California State Bar.
• 3-7 years of legal practice in California, with a significant focus on Insurance litigation.
• Demonstrated ability in handling and resolving legal disputes.
• Licenses to practice in additional states are beneficial.
